I’m talking with Shayne who runs Car Care Leederville.
So Shayne what other suburbs do you look after?
You know Mark I am happy to go anywhere and am up for any challenge, but the main areas that I look after are;as well as Leederville, Tuart Hill, Joondanna, Mt Hawthorn and Wembley. I can be contacted directly on 0411289109 or booked through the office by phone or email.

What attracted you to a Car Care franchise?
I looked at a couple of other groups and they didn’t seem to have the same level of professionalism. Car Care were very transparent with what they told me and said they would offer a lot of support at the start, they certainly delivered on that and more. I have been with Car Care for 3 years now and with their assistance the whole way thru my business is starting to really take off.

What is the best part of your day?
Aside from the detailing and getting the response from people when they see their car after a full detail. I like the fact that I get to meet different people all the time, new jobs with different challenges. The other great thing about my day or days is with what I do now I have the flexability to see my son when previously it was very difficult.

Talking of challenges what has been your biggest as a Car Care franchisee?
My biggest problem (though not anymore) was keeping focused on those especially dirty vehicles that needed a lot of work as I would start something and see something else that needed my attention and I wouldn’t complete what I was doing. I definately learnt that by sticking to the processes in the correct way I ended up with a better outcome for the customer and I was getting the job done quicker!

Ok lastly Shayne what is the most unique job you have done?
I had a job where a customer had covered his car in carpet (not all of it on the outside but over bumpers etc). Inside he had covered the floor all the door trim even the seats, he told me he was an artist (I thought thats great but you didn’t have to practise on your car!). I told him it was going to cost more because of all the extra shampooing! He wasn’t overly happy but once I had finished he actually apologised to me, as he didn’t think it would come up as good as it did.
